Today Was A Good Day

Good evening everyone!

The doctor was called away this afternoon but did send someone in to tell us he has requested a ct scan for tomorrow. We are still waiting for Dr. Villeneuve the thorasics specialist to talk about a PICC line.

He went for a walk this morning, his temperature is good, good blood work, good blood pressure and we should find out about his cultures this evening (before 7pm). They took the big purple bandage off and his chest is healing very nicely (the nurse said a lot better then most patients with normal dressings). Praise the Lord!

I think today was a day of pep talks for my dad. The physio talked to him about his posture while walking so that his lungs don't collapse.

His nurse also gave him a good talk about being given a second chance at life, that his body now has more circulation then it has had in probably years and he should be seizing the day, and pushing himself to stop sleeping and start moving his body a little more each and every day.
