Ernie had the chills/fever this morning so they ordered blood culture to see where infection is...we won't know results until tomorrow.

Physio took him for a "walk around the loop". He doesn't need the heprin because of the long walk?!!! Yayyy, He was happy about this, yesterday he was bleeding from his arm a few times because of it.

I know we are definitely here today & tomorrow... depends on blood culture.

The Prevena Incision Dressing (his purple bandage tie/as Judy & Ann thought it looked like) is to be taken off on 5th to 7th day after surgery... 7th is ideal.

They will also take out the suture & thin wire at the drainages.

Ernie is tired but will be taken for another walk today ( this was supposed to be done but wasnt done on the weekend).

Melissa has him doing bed & chair exercises as he needs to build his strength up.

Sounds like we will be driving Ernie straight home whenever discharge day is. Let's pray that they will transport him by ambulance at least... 6 hours is a long drive by regular car.

We are still praising the Lord through song and prayer together as a family. Yes, Jesus loves us!
