Hi Everyone,

We have all arrived at the Ottawa Heart Institute safely, Praise the Lord! It has been an overwhelming time for all of us, someone called it "being at the doctor's mercy" and boy is it draining!

My mom and I arrived in Ottawa and were met by my dad's cousin Debbie, she has already been such a blessing to us! We are renting a room in her condo for $55 a night! On top of that she made us dinner tonight and gave us two grocery bags full of bananas, cheese and crackers, juices, water, paper towel, mugs, and even a coffee maker! Thank you cousin Debbie!

When my dad arrived at the hospital he had the biggest, warmest smile! He was so happy to finally be in Ottawa and to see his two favorite girls ;)

As the medical staff began their initial intake process we were overwhelmed with questions... I should have known this would happen but I guess I thought they would already know everything from his files from Parry Sound and Sudbury.

During this time we found out that he had chest pains in the airplane and needed two shots of nitro. They are unable to give him TPN because his picc line was stretched 1.5cm during the transfer to Ottawa. So he may need to have a new line inserted, and he has no more TPN and the dietitian won't be in till Monday. He has lost 10lbs since March 7th.

Tomorrow morning we continue the registration process and answer more questions.

Please be in prayers for: - Wisdom for the medical team - My dad would pass all his tests for the bypass - The bypass would be a success - Emotional wellbeing of my dad; peace, comfort and joy - His Scleroderma would reverse - Calcified veins would be decalcified
