From Sue: Here is Ernie! Thanking & Praising Almighty God!!! This was morning after double heart bypass, veins taken from chest area (none from his legs). He was in the Recovery Room, he is now in Cardiac Care Unit waiting to be transferred to ICU and later to regular floor.

Ernie will be in Ottawa Heart Institute until Monday...not sure yet whether they will transfer him back to Sudbury or Parry Sound or send him home.

God surely was in the operating room guiding the doctors through the surgery. As i sit here with him, I am thinking of the many many people who prayed for this miracle to happen. Words cannot fully express my thankfulness for all your support & kindness.

I am reminded of this song. "Surely, Goodness & Mercy shall follow me, All the days, All the days of my life"

Thank you to the doctors & staff for not only taking care of the heart but considered the complications of the scleroderma, even now in recovery.

Thank you for all those that came to visit & prayed with him in Parry Sound to Sudbury to Ottawa.

Thank you for your messages/phone calls that uplifted us and touched his heart as we read your words of encouragement, love & prayers to him.

Thank you for your financial blessings that provide for our Lodging, Travel, Necessities, Laundry, Parking, Hospital Fare and Groceries for the room... Yummm we've had some delicious home-cooked meals by Dwayne, Debra, Sher. My son Dwayne & Jess also took us out for a delicious steak dinner.
